I’ve
always believed that a book is a partnership between the writer and
the reader. Over all the years that I’ve been writing, letters
from my readers have been very important in my life. I have alternately
been praised, corrected and even told how the book should have been
written. In some cases, letters have inspired me to write other books.
This was the case in THE BEARS’ HOUSE, which I never intended
to have a sequel. But because of letters from my readers, I ended up
writing FRAN ELLEN’S HOUSE.
